ABOUT ME

Surasen Dechpan is a professional Sound Engineer, Audio Production Specialist, and Voice Over Artist with over 18 years of experience in the audio recording industry, including 13+ years in high-level audio post-production for global animation, commercial, and digital media projects.

Formerly with Animated Storyboards (ASB), where he led the establishment and development of the Audio division for the Asia & Pacific region. As a key pioneer in the region, he built and scaled audio workflows from the ground up, contributing to the efficiency and quality of large-scale international production pipelines. His role extended beyond sound engineering into cross-functional collaboration, supporting creative, technical, and operational teams across departments. Prior to his departure, he also served as Animation Revision Project Manager, overseeing project execution, cross-team coordination, and delivery standards.

He is currently working on an ongoing project, “RongNgang Bhornsawan Live Session”, an archive recording initiative as part of the Thailand Biennale 2025 in Phuket, aimed at preserving the work of a timeless Thai artist. Now working as a full-time freelance professional, he provides end-to-end audio solutions, including Sound Design, Audio Post-Production for Visual Media, Voice Over, and both studio and on-location recording.
